Stelvie App ("we", "our", "us") operates the Stelvie mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

Data controller: Tomás Quinteros, acting as an individual, with domicile in Argentina ("Stelvie App"). Contact: support@stelvie.app.

1. Information We Collect

When you use Stelvie, we collect the following information:

• Account information: Your name provided through Apple Sign In.
• Birth data: Your date of birth, time of birth, and city of birth, which you provide during onboarding to calculate your astrological birth chart.
• App-generated content: Daily readings, tarot spreads, compatibility results, and journal entries created within the app.
• Oracle questions: The free-text question you submit to the Oracle is sent to the AI and stored in your account so you can revisit past readings. A safety layer automatically scans questions for indicators of a personal crisis in order to surface helpline information. Please avoid entering details you do not want stored.
• Data about other people: If you use the compatibility feature, we store the first name and birth details (date, time, and place of birth) you enter about that person for as long as you keep them saved. Only their first name is sent to the AI. You are responsible for having their permission to provide this data. If that person contacts us, we will delete their data on request.
• Cycle data (optional): If you choose to use the cycle tracking feature, we collect the dates and details you log about your menstrual cycle. See Section 3 below for how this sensitive data is handled.
• Usage and subscription analytics: If analytics is enabled, we collect general interactions with features and subscription screens, free or premium status, technical subscription package identifiers, purchase outcomes, a pseudonymous app-instance identifier, and general device, app, language, and approximate region information. We do not set an account-level Analytics user ID or connect the Analytics identifier to your Stelvie or RevenueCat account. We do not include your name, email, birth data, readings, questions, journal content, compatibility content, or cycle information in analytics events.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, or photos. Google Analytics may derive an approximate region from network information; Stelvie does not receive or store your precise location.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To calculate your astrological birth chart using astronomical algorithms (Swiss Ephemeris).
• To generate personalized astrological readings using AI (Google Gemini). We send your zodiac signs and birth chart data, your first name, your gender, and — for oracle readings — the question text you type. We never send your contact information, journal entries, or cycle data.
• To save your readings, journal entries, and preferences so they are available across sessions.
• To manage your subscription status.
• To measure feature usage and subscription conversion, diagnose product flows, and improve the App. Analytics is not used for third-party advertising and can be disabled at any time in Settings.

3. Sensitive Health Information (Cycle Tracking)

Stelvie's optional cycle tracking feature involves information about your menstrual cycle, which we treat as sensitive health data. This feature is opt-in and disabled by default until you explicitly consent to it within the app.

• Cycle data — including use of the cycle feature — is never sent to advertising, marketing, or analytics services, and is never sold, traded, or shared with third parties.
• Cycle data is not used to personalize AI-generated content beyond what you explicitly enable.
• Notifications default to discreet, non-explicit wording. On surfaces visible to someone other than you (lock screen, notification center), no explicit cycle-related wording is shown unless you opt in to the descriptive notification style in Settings; you can also hide notification content from the lock screen entirely.
• You can delete your cycle data at any time from the Settings screen, independently of the rest of your account.
• Cycle and fertility-window insights are estimates calculated from the dates you log. They are not a medical device, are not diagnosis or treatment, and must not be used as contraception or for any medical decision. See our Terms of Service.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your account data is stored in Google Cloud (Firebase/Firestore) with encryption in transit and at rest. Authentication tokens are stored securely in your device's Keychain. When enabled, analytics events are processed by Google Analytics for Firebase and associated with a pseudonymous app-instance identifier. We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.

5. AI Processing

Stelvie uses Google Gemini AI to generate personalized readings, tarot interpretations, and compatibility analyses. We send your zodiac sign information (Sun, Moon, Rising signs) and birth chart data, your first name and gender, and — for oracle readings — the free-text question you submit. Please avoid entering sensitive personal details in oracle questions. The AI does not retain your personal data between requests. All AI-generated interpretations are labeled as such within the app.

6. Third-Party Services

• Firebase (Google Cloud): Authentication and data storage.
• Google Analytics for Firebase: Optional app-usage and subscription-funnel measurement. It uses a pseudonymous app-instance identifier and may process general device information and approximate region. Analytics can be disabled in Settings.
• Google Gemini: AI content generation.
• RevenueCat: Subscription management. Stelvie does not send the Firebase Analytics app-instance identifier to RevenueCat.
• Apple: Sign In with Apple authentication.

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal data with third parties for advertising or marketing purposes.

7. Data Retention

We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Compatibility data you save about another person is kept while you keep it saved and is deleted if it has not been used for 24 months. Cycle data is kept until you delete it. Analytics data follows the retention settings configured in Google Analytics. You can disable analytics and reset the analytics identifier stored on your device at any time in Settings. You can delete your account and associated account data from the Settings screen within the app.

8. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access your personal data stored in the app.
• Delete your account and all associated data permanently.
• Export your data from within the app or by contacting us.
• Request deletion of any data you provided about another person by contacting us.
• Disable usage analytics and reset the analytics identifier on your device from Settings.
• Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In Argentina, this is the Agencia de Acceso a la Información Pública (AAIP).

9. Age Requirement

Stelvie is not intended for anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app or by updating the "Last updated" date.

11. International Data Transfers

We may process and store your information on servers located outside your country, including in the United States, where our service providers (such as Google and Apple) operate. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards for these transfers, including the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission and our providers' data processing agreements.
